To: Megan, Candorful Interview Coach
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. We had a Candorful practice interview on 22 July and you had asked for feedback on how my impending interviews went.
I ended up interviewing at 6 firms over the next two weeks, and several made offers. I ended up at Honeywell here in Kansas City and their offer was off the charts. I could not believe it.
I wanted to thank you and the entire @Candorful team for your help. There is ZERO doubt that my three prep interviews made all the difference and I was super prepared and confident going into the interview phase. THANK YOU!

I’ll be the deputy senior manager for all maintenance on the production / manufacturing equipment at a huge plant with a Classified Dept of Energy contract that is slated to last through 2040 (and likely beyond).
I had to rewrite my resume to highlight my extensive aircraft maintenance leadership experience which did the trick.
Once the interview began and I started asking questions that demonstrated my knowledge of successful maintenance practices, the senior manager shifted from asking why I would fit in, to convincing me why I needed to come there. It was quite surprising and strange but a very welcome development.
Can’t wait to get started in a couple of weeks.
THANK YOU, Megan Hanik. You are an awesome Candorful Interview Coach! It’s volunteers like you that are the backbone to the impact that Candorful makes on Transitioning Military, Veterans, and Military Spouses.
(And there is so much to be gained from reading all the way to the bottom of this email thread, especially the part about resume rewriting and preparing with the right questions to ask. How can you apply this to your job search?)
